Discover the magic of Salar de Uyuni! Imagine walking across an endless salt mirror, feeling like you’re on another planet. Salar de Uyuni is the world’s largest salt flat and offers such a unique experience that it will leave you speechless. Come witness surreal landscapes, take spectacular photos, and create unforgettable memories in this truly magical place.

Day 1 – Uyuni / Train Cemetery / Catal Lagoon / Vinto Lagoon

Pickup in Uyuni (airport, bus station, or hotel).

Departure from Uyuni (10:00) to the village of Mallku Cueva Villamar, visiting the train cemetery, where we will see the remains of locomotives from the 19th and 20th centuries, the Church of San Cristóbal, and the villages of Culpina K and Alota, as well as the Valley of Rocks, a famous group of rock formations caused by wind erosion. We continue with a visit to the Catal and Vinto Lagoons, and then to the Lost Italy rock formation. At an appropriate time, we will visit the village of Villamar, the rock paintings, and the Tomas Lakha Necropolis Fort. Overnight stay at a hotel in the Villamar region.

Day 2 – Colorada Lagoon / Geysers / Siloli Desert / Stone Tree / Salt Hotel

After breakfast, departure for Colorada Lagoon and an excursion around the lagoon, where we will admire the famous Flamingos, the only ones of their kind in the world, as well as the perennial ice and the Sol de Mañana Geysers. We continue north, visiting the Siloli Desert and the Stone Tree, as well as the smaller lagoon system: Hedionda Lagoon, Cañapa, Ramaditas, Chiarkota, and Honda. Return north to the village of Colchani. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the world’s best and most luxurious salt hotel, Palacio de Sal Hotel.

Day 3 – Salar de Uyuni / Colchani / Flag Square / Incahuasi Island

After breakfast, we visit the Great Uyuni Salt Flat, stopping along the way at the village of Colchani, where we will see an artisanal salt processing plant. We visit the Uyuni Salt Flat, passing by the water springs (known as ‘eyes of water’), as well as observing the method of salt extraction in blocks and mounds. We will also visit the well-known Flag Square in the middle of the Salt Flat and the Giant Sculptures. We continue to Incahuasi Island (also known as Fish Island). An Apthapi-style lunch will be served in the middle of the Great Uyuni Salt Flat.

After some time for taking perspective photos and experiencing the energy that the Salt Flat transmits to us, we head south to watch the sunset, accompanied by a round of wine and snacks.

At a convenient time, transfer back to Uyuni (airport, bus station, or hotel).

  • Brazilian passengers can travel using only their ID (RG), without the need for a passport. However, the ID must be in good condition and issued less than 10 years ago (check the issue date). Additionally, it must not be laminated, the photo must be up to date, and the original ID must be presented during the trip (authenticated copies, driver’s licenses, etc., are not accepted).

 

  • For foreign residents in Brazil, the RNE can be used as long as it is valid. However, it is still mandatory to carry the original passport from your country, with at least 6 months of validity after the end of the trip.
  • Arrival and departure transfers from Uyuni, Bolivia;
  • 1 night of accommodation in a superior tourist-class hotel with breakfast in Villamar;
  • 1 night of accommodation in a superior tourist-class hotel with breakfast at the world’s best and most luxurious salt hotel, Hotel Palacio de Sal;
  • Private 4×4 transportation equipped with GPS and radio communicators;
  • Breakfast, lunch (with drinks), and dinner (without drinks);
